#1. The Fiend vs Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns made his WWE return at SummerSlam and later took the Universal Championship back from The Fiend in a triple threat match that also included Braun Strowman.

Ahead of the WWE Draft back in October, there was a tease on SmackDown that saw Alexa Bliss stare down Roman Reigns, as a way to make it clear he was on The Fiend's hit list. Both Bliss and The Fiend were then moved over to Monday Night RAW, which left their feud up in the air.

The original plan was for Reigns and The Fiend to face off at Hell in a Cell, but this was then changed to include Jey Uso. Dave Meltzer reported that backstage officials believed a feud with The Feind wouldn't help Reigns.

Whilst The Fiend has a long way to climb back in WWE following his defeat at the hands of Randy Orton at TLC, it would be interesting to see if he and Roman Reigns cross paths in the new year.

A feud between the two men was originally set to take place. The Fiend could circle back to Reigns if he continues to go after stars who have wronged him in the past.
