#3. WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield – Meredith Whitney

John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) kicked off his wrestling career in 1992 before joining WWE three years later. After spending 14 years as an active in-ring competitor, Layfield announced his retirement in 2009. In the following years, he became a color commentator and pre-show panelist. The former WWE Champion entered the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020.

Outside the squared circle, the WWE Grand Slam Champion is a businessman. He owns an energy drink company and established a nonprofit organization called Beyond Rugby Bermuda to help at-risk youth in the United States. Layfield is also currently married to a former businesswoman.

The WWE legend has been married twice. His first marriage to Cindy Womack lasted between 1994 and 2003. Two years after his divorce, the 54-year-old tied the knot with Meredith Whitney.

Whitney is one of Wall Street’s highest-profile women. She became famous for predicting the difficulties of Citigroup Inc during the 2007-2008 financial crisis. The 51-year-old was then a research analyst at Oppenheimer & Co. After her successful prediction, several media outlets referred to her as The Oracle of Wall Street. Several media outlets also chose her among the 50 most powerful women in business and New York.

In 2009, Whitney resigned from Oppenheimer & Co to establish her firm, Meredith Whitney Advisory Group (MWAG). Four years later, she de-registered her firm and started a hedge fund, Kenbelle Capital LP. Nonetheless, Whitney had to shut it down two years later.

In an interview with Fox Business Network, the 51-year-old stated that she is not planning to manage money again.

Whitney then worked for a few years at different companies. Earlier this year, she became the Chief Financial Officer of the health and technology company Kindbody.
