#1 Best friends forever
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were best friends who grew up together in the business after starting in IWS around the same time. Their careers paralleled each other in many respects and they had some intense battles all over the world. But since debuting in WWE, it seemed Owens and Zayn were destined to carry on as bitter enemies instead of best friends.
All that seemed to change at Hell In A Cell.
Will John Cena beat Ric Flair's record? A former WCW Champion thinks so HERE
During the final adrenaline-pumping spot of the night, Shane McMahon climbed to the top of the cell in an attempt to reenact his WrestleMania 32 dive onto The Undertaker. Unfortunately for him, it ended much in the same way with his opponent getting out of the way to send him crashing through the announce table all alone.
But it was how Kevin Owens moved out of the way which really got people going. Sami Zayn was laying in wait just off camera during the final spot and he leapt in at the last moment to remove KO from danger.
After Shane went smashing through the table, Sami Zayn arranged a pinfall so KO left as the winner in Detroit. This apparent heel turn from the former El Generico was a surprising one indeed which is why it tops our list here.
