Goldberg is set to take on Bobbly Lashley this Saturday at SummerSlam
Before becoming a WWE Hall of Famer, Goldberg made a name for himself in WCW. Like The Rock, Goldberg kicked off his wrestling career in the mid-1990s. He spent nearly four years in WCW, where he became one of its biggest stars.
During his time in WCW, Goldberg won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, WCW World Tag Team Championships, and the WCW United States Championship. However, in 2001, he found himself out of a job following WWE's purchase of Ted Turner's company.
In 2003, Goldberg joined WWE for a brief run that lasted about a year and saw him win the World Heavyweight Championship once. He would not return to Vince McMahon's company until nearly 12 years later, in 2016. Following his return, he captured the Universal Title twice.
Despite all his accomplishments, Goldberg is not a Grand Slam Champion. He has never won the Intercontinental Championship or the WWE United States Title. Despite them being prestigious titles, the 54-year-old never chased them as he focused all his attention on capturing the major titles in WWE.
After a few months of absence, Goldberg recently returned to WWE to challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Title. The two powerhouses will go head-to-head at SummerSlam.
