No, this is not a typo and no, you do not need to refresh your browser. Yes, I’m well aware that this may very well be the most unlikely of all the legends to make an appearance.
But, I cannot help but believe that CM Punk still has a strong desire to one day wrestle again. I could be wrong, but considering the train wreck that was his UFC debut, a WWE return would be the only platform for Punk right now, if he is willing to compete again.
While it’s probably a long shot, just think of the ovation if Punk’s “Cult of Personality” entrance music were to drop all of a sudden. There would be reports of seismic tremors all throughout Orange County.
If you pay attention during practically every televised WWE event, the fans will almost always start a “CM PUNK!” chant.
Punk hears it loud and clear, as we found out during a recent episode of RAW, when The Rock placed a call to Punk during a dark segment while they were taping for the documentary on Paige’s life.

Soon after, Punk tweeted his appreciation to the fans in attendance.
Maybe I’m just a delusional CM Punk fan, holding onto hope that one day the Straight Edge Superstar will return to the one place where his fans accept and embrace him for everything that he is, as well as everything he is not.

Jonathan believes integrity is vital in journalism and ensures his work is high on accuracy. He conducts in-depth research and verifies information from various sources before curating a feature.
Jonathan has engaged in many meaningful conversations with prominent pro wrestling personalities like Drew McIntyre and DDP. Jonathan, a big fan of Bray Wyatt, would like to see the latter's brother, Bo Dallas, continue his legacy as Uncle Howdy. If he were to work on the storyline, Jonathan would book the return of Erick Rowan as Howdy’s muscle. He thinks it would be a great way to honor the former Universal Champion.
When not writing pro wrestling features, Jonathan likes to collect sports memorabilia and has amassed a large collection of event-used and autographed relics over the years.
