#2 - Daniel Bryan

Since his return to in-ring action, it's been pretty clear that WWE has no idea what to do with Daniel Bryan. It's the weirdest thing too, because he definitely has everything it takes to be the company's top star, but they clearly don't want him in that position.
It does appear that Daniel Bryan will be with WWE for a little while longer, as his contract expired at the end of last month, but it's pretty obvious that he's signed a new one.

At this point, it seems like WWE is dead-set on marginalizing Daniel Bryan, which means that they'll never be able to capitalize on his true potential. However, if he were to return to the independent scene, he'd probably be the biggest non-WWE contracted star in the business, perhaps aside from Chris Jericho.
Unfortunately, though, it does look like he's staying with WWE for now, so let's just hope that the company figures out how to use him correctly.
