#2 Hulk Hogan (6 wins, 0 losses)
Given that Hulk Hogan cemented his WrestleMania legacy by winning multiple singles matches early on in the PPV’s history, it’s a little surprising that three of his first four encounters at SummerSlam were tag matches.
“The Hulkster” was victorious in all of them, of course, starting with the famous Mega Powers vs. Mega Bucks match in 1988, which saw Hogan and Randy Savage team up to defeat the villainous Andre The Giant and Ted DiBiase.

He then teamed with Brutus Beefcake to defeat Savage and Zeus in 1989, while he joined forces with The Ultimate Warrior to defeat The Triangle of Terror (Col. Mustafa, Gen. Adnan & Sgt. Slaughter) in 1991.
Hogan competed in just three singles matches at SummerSlam during his career, defeating Earthquake in 1990 before returning in the mid-00s to pick up controversial victories over Shawn Michaels in 2005 and Randy Orton in 2006.
