Bianca Belair is currently in her first reign as SmackDown Women's Champion

WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair is easily having the biggest year of her WWE career to date.

The EST of WWE won the Women's Royal Rumble match in January, last eliminating former NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley. This was then followed up by main eventing WrestleMania 37 Night One against Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

Belair defeated Banks in one of the best matches of WrestleMania 37 weekend and one of the better WrestleMania main events in recent history. This was also only the second time ever that female WWE Superstars had competed in a WrestleMania main event.

Since then, Bianca Belair has been involved in a storyline with Bayley on Friday Night SmackDown. Belair successfully defended the SmackDown Women's Championship against Bayley at WrestleMania Backlash and inside Hell in a Cell against Bayley at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

Currently scheduled to face Bayley in an "I Quit" match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, it appears that the Belair vs Bayley feud is finally set to end soon.

While it is speculated that Bianca Belair will defend the SmackDown Women's Championship against Sasha Banks at SummerSlam, The EST of WWE is in desperate need for opponents on SmackDown.

The SmackDown women's division is incredibly light on the ground right now due to recent "budget cuts" in WWE. Toni Storm would be a perfect post-SummerSlam opponent for Bianca Belair on the blue brand, should she retain the championship at the biggest party of the summer against Sasha Banks.
