#1 Current WWE RAW Women's Champion Rhea Ripley
WWE RAW Women's Champion Rhea Ripley has certainly had an interesting 2021 so far, to say the least.
Ripley officially made her main roster debut/return during the Women's Royal Rumble match in January. The Nightmare was last eliminated by eventual winner Bianca Belair.
It was later announced that Rhea Ripley had been moved to Monday Night RAW. After making her debut, she quickly transitioned into a feud with then RAW Women's Champion Asuka. This resulted in a RAW Women's Championship match at WrestleMania 37 Night Two. Ripley left the grandest stage of them all victorious, winning the RAW Women's Championship for the first time.
Since then, Rhea Ripley has been engaged in a feud with Charlotte Flair over the RAW Women's Championship on Monday Nights.
However, should Ripley retain her title, a feud against Toni Storm would be excellent television. The two Australian stars have a lot of history with each other in WWE.
In 2018, Rhea Ripley defeated Toni Storm in the finals of the tournament to crown the first ever NXT United Kingdom Women's Champion. Ripley eventually lost the championship to Storm at the NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool event in January 2019.
WWE could easily play off the two WWE Superstar's history in NXT UK, as well as being real life close friends, whilst delivering some fantastic matches and excellent television.
