#3 Former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens wants to face Johnny Gargano

The Prizefighter has been gaining momentum since he returned to WWE SmackDown. It won’t be long before he ascends to the WWE Universal Championship picture.

Kevin Owens has been one of the top Superstars to come out of WWE NXT. He has managed to make a name for himself and carve out a niche for what he does in the ring.

KO has always loved competing against his best friend Finn Balor and has expressed his desire to take on The Demon King at WrestleMania someday. With Balor competing for NXT again, it could be interesting if WWE decides to book the two men in a match at The Grandest Stage of Them All for the NXT Championship.

Apart from Balor, Johnny Gargano is someone whom KO wants to compete against.

“There’s obviously so many talented people in NXT that I’d love to wrestle on that stage. Some of them are my friends, others are guys I’ve seen wrestle and would love to just be in the ring with. It’s really hard to pinpoint one because there are so many answers. If I were to go with…I would love for Johnny Gargano to show up.”

Gargano is one of the finest WWE Superstars in the business today, and a match between The Rebel Heart and The Prizefighter could be epic. Hopefully, WWE will listen to KO and give us this dream match someday.
