5 WWE main roster stars who want to face someone from NXT

#2 WWE Hall of Famer Edge wants to face Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Tyler Bate, among others

Will we ever see Edge head over to WWE NXT for these dream matches?

Edge’s return to WWE was nothing short of miraculous. The WWE Hall of Famer drew the largest pop during this year’s men's Royal Rumble match. Edge has since gotten into a bitter rivalry with Randy Orton that seems to be far from over even after the two men competed in two long matches.

However, Orton isn’t the only Superstar the WWE Universe wants to watch Edge compete against. During an appearance on After the Bell with Corey Graves, Edge revealed that he wants to wrestle former NXT Champion, Keith Lee, along with a few other current NXT and NXT UK Superstars.

"There's just there's just so many. I mean I could point at each roster. I could point at NXT. Let's start there: [Tommaso] Ciampa, [Johnny] Gargano, Adam Cole [and] Velveteen Dream with the way he's got his character dialed in. The way I could play off of that, and he's still so young.”

"I think Brock knows how and you saw two minutes of that. That's fun. God, you can look at that UK: [Tyler] Bate, Walter and I know I'm forgetting names. Shane Thorn, I'd love to get in there with him. I'd love to get in and really really just see what they got and see and try and give them some tools to take it to the next level. You know what I mean? And and there's so much untapped potential there. Roddy [Roderick Strong], [Bobby] Fish and [Kyle] O'Reilly just give me a partner. There's just there's so much there."

Edge seems to have his list of opponents ready for WWE to select from. It would be interesting to watch the Hall of Famer work a match or two on NXT to help the brand and its Superstars gain more attention.
