Drew McIntyre wants to hunt down the biggest fish in NXT UK

Drew McIntyre is looking to rule WWE in his second stint with the company. He has already become the first-ever British WWE Champion in the history of the company. However, that’s not enough for The Scottish Psychopath who is looking to take advantage of every opportunity that comes his way and create some new moments.

McIntyre has been open to going to NXT UK to perform and take on some of the best WWE Superstars performing in the United Kingdom. Just the thought of watching McIntyre become the WWE NXT United Kingdom Champion is extremely exciting.

While speaking on The Kliq podcast, McIntyre revealed that he has spoken to Triple H about going to NXT UK on several occasions. He claimed that there was no real wrestling scene when he started competing in the UK and that he had to travel twelve hours just to learn to wrestle.

"I’ve said in a few interviews that I bother Triple H every so often to let me get back to NXT UK and do something with him (Walter) because I came up in UK wrestling when there was no UK wrestling scene. I used to travel 12 hours just to learn to wrestle.”

That’s not all, as The Scottish Psychopath once again expressed his desire to compete against WALTER in NXT UK, something he has been quite vocal about.

"To see it go from where we took to it to WWE getting involved and creating NXT UK, I couldn’t have imagined that when I was a kid – like having WWE in the UK. Now we’ve got such a great system for people to learn. Things are on fire and I want to get back, and yes, I do want to fight WALTER."

WALTER is the current WWE NXT UK Champion, and he has already taken down the best men in the UK including Tyler Bate, KUSHIDA, Joe Coffey, Pete Dunne, Ilja Dragunov, and Ridge Holland, to name a few.

After defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 to prove that he is The Chosen One, can McIntyre take down The Ring General in NXT UK?
