#1 Drew McIntyre

When Drew McIntyre was released from WWE in 2014, his career had seemed like a huge missed opportunity.
Returning three years later, McIntyre has fared much better, capturing the NXT Championship and becoming a huge presence on RAW.
The issue here, is that McIntyre seems to have fallen into a sidekick role for Shane McMahon, who according to reports, may be in line for a World title victory of his own.
Just a few months ago, most fans were sure McIntyre would be holding the Universal title soon, but now there have been a lot of doubters.
While Shane McMahon's storyline has kept McIntyre in the spotlight, he can't keep playing second fiddle forever.
If McIntyre doesn't hold the Universal or even the United States title this year, then there's a good chance he never will, as he is one of the most prominent heels in the company.
