#3: Batista wins the 2014 Royal Rumble match

Brock Lesnar may have lost in his first match back with WWE, but that wasn't the same fate shared by Batista.
Returning in January 2014, many expected the Animal to get a hero's return, after leaving the company in the Summer of 2010.
The issue was that Batista returned at the worst possible time, as fans were firmly behind Daniel Bryan at the time.
Despite the majority of fans fervently behind the Yes! Man, the company pushed on with Batista, not even having Bryan in the Royal Rumble match at all.
Without Bryan in the match, the fans quickly turned on the Animal, and things weren't helped when he eliminated the popular Roman Reigns to win the match, a symbol of the old part-timers getting the better of the stars of the day.
