#4. Kane unmasks

2003 was the year of Evolution, as the notorious faction ran roughshod over Monday Night Raw, feuding with the likes of Kevin Nash, Booker T, Goldberg, and Shawn Michaels.

The group went to have a short-lived feud with Rob Van Dam and Kane, resulting in a match between Triple H and Kane. The stipulation stated that Kane would have to unmask if he lost the match.

Thanks to an interference by Randy Orton, Triple H stood victorious in the end. As a horrified Rob Van Dam watched, Kane took off his mask, revealing the most hideous and intimidating visual in the history of the business. The face oozed hate and contempt, and seemed to have been burnt badly.

Kane suddenly choke slammed his longtime partner RVD, as the sea of terrified fans watched in horror. Kane went on to commit a bunch of heinous acts in the near future and capped it off with burying his brother alive at Survivor Series 2003.
