The group went to have a short-lived feud with Rob Van Dam and Kane, resulting in a match between Triple H and Kane. The stipulation stated that Kane would have to unmask if he lost the match.
Thanks to an interference by Randy Orton, Triple H stood victorious in the end. As a horrified Rob Van Dam watched, Kane took off his mask, revealing the most hideous and intimidating visual in the history of the business. The face oozed hate and contempt, and seemed to have been burnt badly.
