The summer of 2007 saw Vince McMahon acting all weird and lost. The owner of the World Wrestling Entertainment delivered a bunch of bizarre promos, suspended WWE Superstar Ashley for accidentally spilling coffee on him, and acted downright crazy.

On an episode of Raw, Vince came out to address the crowd but left without speaking a word. As a horde of Superstars watched in confusion, Vince left for his limo. As soon as Vince closed the limo's door behind him, it exploded in a blast, leaving the fans inside the arena in shock and terror.
Although this was a staged segment to further a storyline, the visual of the exploding limo proved to be too much for some fans, especially the young ones in attendance. The storyline was scrapped almost immediately in the wake of Chis Benoit's double murder-suicide case.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
