The build-up for No Mercy has been quite good in the last month and the matches are rather off the charts which gives it a big pay-per-view feel. There are at least three high-quality matches that could have a spot on any WrestleMania card, but the fans are fortunately getting them in September.
Now, if WWE wants to make sure that this PPV delivers in every single aspect, they are going to have to make sure these things take place.
#5 The two brothers of The Shield need to remain a team
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
It took Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins a good month to finally realize they work really well as a team and it brought them the Raw Tag Team Championships. The fans are loving them working together once again and it only makes sense to let them keeping streaking forward with what works.
No one wants to see another Seth Rollins heel turn, and the world may not yet be ready to believe a Dean Ambrose heel turn. It's in the best interest of everyone to keep them together even if they lose the belts.
One other thing that these two splitting up does is pretty much squash any chance of a full-on reunion of The Shield for a very long time.
#4 Alexa Bliss needs to retain the Raw Women's Championship
Alexa Bliss is one of the most entertaining Superstars across both brands and even NXT. There is no real surprise that WWE has kept a championship around her waist for so long on both SmackDown Live and Raw, and that means it isn't yet time to take it away from her at No Mercy.
Any of the other women in the match with her are more than worthy of holding the title, but it just makes sense for Bliss to remain as champion. The longer she holds onto it, the bigger the moment will be when someone defeats her to win the belt.
#3 Luke Harper and Erick Rowan need to return and reunite The Wyatt Family
Ok, so it doesn't really seem to make a lot of sense since both Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are members of the SmackDown Live roster, but it needs to happen. They are sitting there and are being wasted on Team Blue with nothing to do.
There have been rumours of them returning as a repackaged tag team, but their characters work just fine as part of The Wyatt Family. If they were to return and help Bray Wyatt defeat Finn Balor, it would make a lot of sense storyline-wise and give them something to do.
From there, Balor could recruit Luke Gallows and Ken Anderson to finally have the Balor Club make its debut in WWE. That feud writes itself and gives Raw some brand new material for something the fans would love to see.
Again, the biggest obstacle here is the fact that Harper and Rowan are on SmackDown, but it isn't like unexplained moves haven't happened in the past.
#2 Roman Reigns needs a clean victory that is not even close to being a fluke
Roman Reigns vs. John Cena is a WrestleMania-quality match — one that ended up being rushed due to a number of different reasons. However, one thing still hasn't changed: the former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket needs to win convincingly and in clean fashion so that the fans can see his position is where he belongs.
His win over The Undertaker earlier this year was huge, but the audience never really took to it and hated the idea that he retired the legend. Now, he's moved onto different things and he's feuding with the biggest star that WWE has on its entire payroll.
Reigns is not going to receive a full heel turn anytime soon which means that defeating Cena in a shady manner won't do anything to help him. This is not the kind of match that should end with a roll-up or questionable pin. The ending has to come with Reigns delivering a huge Spear and pinning Cena clean in the middle of the ring.
Any other outcome and Roman Reigns still won't be taken seriously.

#1 Brock Lesnar needs to lose the WWE Universal Championship to Braun Strowman
Over the past couple of months, Braun Strowman has really stepped up his game with his in-ring ability, mic work, and overall crowd interaction. The guy is actually getting chants from the fans and they're starting to pop for him when he does something huge or devastating.
That's why it is time to give him the WWE Universal Title.
Brock Lesnar is not scheduled for much of the rest of this year and having your champion off of television for three to four months is hardly ideal. Let him take a loss and come back around the Royal Rumble to build up something big for WrestleMania.
Meanwhile, let the giant take the title and run beast-mode through the Raw roster.
