WWE Invasion was a different sort of pay-per-view event

I know what you are thinking... there's no WCW for an Invasion pay-per-view to take place in 2019! And even then, the original WWE Invasion storyline was far from the best.

However, there is something that WWE has built which has a lot of potentials if pushed successfully.

It is time to recognise WWE NXT as the storehouse of talent that they are. Some of the best Independent Professional Wrestlers in the world are brought into NXT, where they interact with some of the top WWE homegrown talents.

The best way to give them an opportunity to be recognised would be for one night of the year when NXT Superstars invade the main roster.

No, I don't mean they are called up, but one night where it is NXT vs Main Roster's RAW and SmackDown Live Superstars. It would give the opportunity for WWE to put on some matches which would otherwise not be seen. NXT and the NXT United Kingdom could come together for the WWE PPV.

Will it happen? Perhaps in the future, when Triple H has slightly more creative control in WWE.
