They were not one of the top events of the year either, with no special focus on big matches being aimed for them. However, there was something about them that was very special. They always took place in the United Kingdom.
Given WWE's expansion in the UK, it is understandable that they want to let the NXT United Kingdom events do the job. However, if there is one wrestling fanbase which is almost rabid in their love for wrestling, it is the United Kingdom.
It is time that WWE brought back main roster WWE PPVs which are dedicated to the United Kingdom. This way, they get at least one annual event taking place which they can visit in their own country.
With WWE's expansion plans being what they are, this could build to a Big Four pay-per-view, with the possibility of WrestleMania, being held in the United Kingdom at some point in the future.
