WWE Great Balls of Fire was another pay-per-view that only happened once. The event took place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It was a show for the WWE RAW brand that included nine matches.

Every single championship from the brand was defended and none of them changed hands that night. The main event saw Brock Lesnar face Samoa Joe for the first time ever. Lesnar successfully retained his Universal Championship against the Samoan Submission Machine.

Other main matches on the card included Braun Strowman defeating Roman Reigns in an Ambulance Match.

After the match Reigns would put Strowman inside the ambulance and reverse drive it into another one, leaving the fans stunned. Unfortunately for this pay-per-view, the name Great Balls of Fire was poorly received on social media.

The event was also remembered for Lesnar defending the Universal Championship for the first time ever since he won it from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33. One match that stood out was the 30-minute Iron Man Match between Cesaro and Sheamus and The Hardy Boyz for the RAW Tag Team Championships. The bout went into overtime and ultimately, The Bar emerged victorious.
