Matt Riddle is one of the most popular names in the MMA and independent wrestling circuit. Dave Meltzer even acclaimed the current EVOLVE Champion as the 'Most Improved Wrestler' in 2016. However, his demons held him back from signing a WWE contract.
But, things looking bright for Riddle now. PWInsider reports that both NJPW and WWE are showing interest to acquire him, and if given a lucrative offer, he can go either way. Moreover, Riddle has pulled himself off bookings from Ireland's Over The Top Wrestling and PWG's BOLA tournament. This is a further indication that he may be WWE or NJPW bound.
Personally, I would love to see Matt Riddle head towards WWE. He would be a great prospect in NXT under the tutelage of Triple H. Furthermore, he could have great feuds with the likes of Ricochet, EC3, and Velveteen Dream.
