#1. Harvey Wippleman and Bertha Faye
In WWE in the mid 1990s, there weren't many more annoying characters than the runt that was Harvey Wippleman.
The greasy-haired manager always drew the ire of fans for his loudmouth, trash-talking ways, with Harvey never capable of backing up his words with any kind of physicality. With hatred towards him nearing a peak in 1995, WWE knew exactly how to turn things up a yet another notch - by giving him a love interest, of course!

It was at that point - April 1995 to be exact - that WWE welcomed Bertha Faye into the mix. Bertha was a powerful, menacing character who loved and doted on Harvey. The two were sickeningly in love, it seemed, and Harvey was never far from her side.

He guided her through her fairly short WWE career, the peak of which came at Summerslam in 1995 when Faye won the WWE Women's Championship.
Months after she'd broken the nose of then-champ Alundra Blayze, Faye got her title shot at the biggest show of the summer, and ended up routing Blayze to win the title - much to Harvey's delight, of course!
Her reign was fleeting, as she lost the gold back to Blayze on an episode of RAW around six weeks later.
The two stayed together a little while longer before Faye's exit from WWE.
