Ricochet is one of the most talented superstars on the WWE roster today. A match between him and Universal Champion Roman Reigns would definitely be a must-see.

The two superstars have shared the ring only twice. The first came when they teamed up with Mustafa Ali, Rusev, and Shorty G to defeat Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, King Corbin, Randy Orton, and Shinsuke Nakamura in a 10-person Tag Team match at Crown Jewel 2019.

Later that same year, Reigns and Ricochet were opponents in the 5-on-5-on-5 Men's Survivor Series elimination match. The high-flyer was a member of Team RAW while Reigns led Team SmackDown to victory.

Nevertheless, the Universal Champion and the former United States Champion have never faced each other one-on-one. Since moving to SmackDown from RAW in the 2021 WWE Draft, several WWE fans have expressed their desire to see Ricochet challenge The Tribal Chief for his title.

Ricochet does not seem to be currently focusing on capturing the Universal Title. Instead, the former NXT North American Champion was recently very close to earning an Intercontinental Title Match. He participated in the 12 Days of Christmas Gauntlet Match last Friday, during which he eliminated Sheamus, Humberto, and Jinder Mahal, before losing to Sami Zayn.
