This is the match everybody wants for WrestleMania 38.
Ever since Edge made his miraculous return to WWE at the Royal Rumble in 2020, fans have wanted to see him take on AJ Styles. They had a brief exchange during that Rumble, although it ended with The Phenomenal One separating his shoulder.
That can be played upon if Styles is the one to take up this WrestleMania challenge. The two-time WWE Champion has made it no secret in the past that he wants to face The Rated-R Superstar before they both retire, which makes this match likelier than others. It was reportedly even pitched for The Show of Shows.
The two of them are among the best in-ring performers in WWE right now, which means the storyline isn't nearly as important here as it usually is for Edge's feuds. He and Styles can create their magic in the ring.
However, with the 11-time world champion, you are almost guaranteed a well-told story. Even if it is against a fellow babyface. Edge vs. AJ Styles could be the best thing on the entire two-night WrestleMania card.
