WWE RAW debuted on Netflix last night, and it was a very eventful show. The first episode of RAW on Netflix aired live from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California. The show featured appearances by The Rock, John Cena, and Hulk Hogan.
CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins in the main event, Roman Reigns won the Tribal Combat match to win back his ula fala, and Rhea Ripley captured the Women's World Championship. However, there were several stars fans were hoping to see return last night, but it did not come to fruition.
Listed below are five stars who failed to return to WWE television during RAW last night.
#5. Becky Lynch did not return on WWE RAW
Becky Lynch has not wrestled since losing to Women's World Champion Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage match on the May 27, 2024, episode of WWE RAW. Her contract with the promotion reportedly expired last year, but she has been rumored to be making her return soon.
Lynch did not appear during the debut episode of RAW on Netflix last night in Los Angeles. However, it has been rumored that the company has big plans for her at WrestleMania 41, so it appears likely that she will be returning to action soon.
#4. Charlotte Flair did not appear on RAW
Charlotte Flair suffered a major injury in December 2023 and did not compete in a match in 2024. The Queen tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus in a match against Asuka at the end of 2023 and still has not returned to action.
The debut episode of RAW on Netflix seemed like a great time to bring Flair back to television, but it didn't happen. Flair remains one of the most popular stars in the company and the WWE Universe is hoping to see her in the ring soon.
#3. Brock Lesnar did not appear on RAW's debut show on Netflix
Brock Lesnar has been absent from the company for over a year. The Beast Incarnate has not been seen on WWE television since he shook Cody Rhodes' hand after The American Nightmare defeated him at SummerSlam 2023.
The 47-year-old would have received a thunderous reaction if he made his return last night on the red brand, but it was not meant to be. It remains to be seen if Lesnar will return to the ring in the future.
#2. Asuka did not return during RAW's premiere on Netflix
Asuka has not competed since WWE Backlash 2024. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) lost the Women's Tag Team Championship to Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair at the premium live event last year.
The Empress of Tomorrow is currently out of action with a knee injury and many fans were hoping to see the veteran return on RAW. However, the former champion did not make an appearance during last night's historic edition of the red brand.
The veteran is a member of Damage CTRL, and her stablemate, Dakota Kai, will be facing Lyra Valkyria next Monday night to crown the inaugural Women's Intercontinental Champion.
#1. Alexa Bliss did not return to TV
Alexa Bliss has been absent from WWE television for almost two years now. The last time the veteran was seen was her loss to Bianca Belair at Royal Rumble 2023. She welcomed a daughter to her family with her husband, musician Ryan Cabrera, during her hiatus from the company.
Bliss used to be aligned with Bray Wyatt, and many fans were hoping to see her become a member of The Wyatt Sicks. However, she did not make an appearance during RAW's debut episode on Netflix, and fans will have to wait a while longer before the 33-year-old returns to the ring.
