WWE's first episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix on January 6, 2025, is being considered no less than a Premium Live Event. The red brand's show on Netflix has some high-voltage contests like Roman Reigns's Tribal Combat against Solo Sikoa, CM Punk's clash against Seth Rollins, Jey Uso against Drew McIntyre, and WWE Women's World Champion Liv Morgan's title match against Rhea Ripley.

However, there will still be some superstars who might not be able to make an appearance on the historic day. Let's take a look at five superstars who are likely to miss RAW's premiere on Netflix.

#5. Randy Orton

The Viper has been out of action ever since Kevin Owens took him out with a banned Package Piledriver on the November 8 edition of SmackDown. In a statement, WWE announced that Orton was diagnosed with cervical cord neurapraxia and that there was no timetable for his return. Orton is most likely to return at Royal Rumble 2025 during Cody Rhodes' ladder match against Kevin Owens.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

#4. The Rock

The Final Boss may also miss RAW's debut episode on Netflix, as there has been no tease of his return on January 6. The Rock last appeared in WWE at Bad Blood during the PLE's end segment.

It is rumored that the Final Boss may lock horns with his cousin Roman Reigns before WrestleMania 41. Thereby, he might return either at Royal Rumble or a week before.

In case Solo loses the Tribal Combat against Roman Reigns, The Rock may kick Solo out of the group and declare himself as the Tribal Chief. He might then kick-start his storyline with Roman Reigns, and the two could face each other at WrestleMania 41.

#3. Sami Zayn

The Honorary Uce may also miss RAW's debut episode on Netflix as The Bloodline took him out on last week's episode of SmackDown. He has already lost two matches on a trot against Drew McIntyre and may be kept out for a while.

The Yeet Master, Jey Uso, will instead square off against Drew McIntyre on RAW next week. Moreover, Sami Zayn might appear on SmackDown next week in a promo against The Bloodline.

#2. AJ Styles

The Phenomenal One is also most likely to miss RAW's debut episode on Netflix as he recuperates from an ankle injury. The two-time WWE Champion returned to the company after a gap of four months in October 2024 and faced Carmelo Hayes in a match.

However, he sustained an ankle injury during the match and couldn't continue, and Hayes was declared the winner. Styles is expected to stay absent for a while before he fully recovers from his injury.

#1. Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar

The Beast Incarnate shall also miss RAW's premiere episode on Netflix, as he is still allegedly connected to Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon. According to Chris Featherstone, Brock Lesnar is not expected to return to WWE in the foreseeable future as there have been no internal discussions on him.

"I have been informed that there's been no internal conversations regarding Brock Lesnar coming back to WWE, and the belief is that he will not be returning any time in the foreseeable future," Dr. Chris reported.

Beyond RAW's premiere episode on Netflix, Brock Lesnar may also miss this year's WrestleMania as well. It's only in the second half of 2025 that the company might be able to give an update on The Beast Incarnate's return.
