#5 Baron Corbin
Baron Corbin's original push in WWE came to a grinding halt after his unsuccessful Money in the Bank cash-in on SmackDown last year. Many have speculated as to why WWE went cold on Corbin, but there's no reason why he cannot be elevated back to being a main event level Superstar in the near future.
Corbin's initial run cemented his status as a viable heel, he played the part of a vicious, aggressive, bully and became one of the leading villains on the roster. Corbin has the credibility to be one of the most prominent heels on the roster, something the WWE is seriously lacking right now.
Corbin's defeat to Jinder Mahal after cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase in August 2017 now looks a very bad move. Not only did Corbin lose, but the manner in which he lost, with a quick roll up, hurt his credibility badly. Corbin has already proven himself when given the chance, but he needs to be booked stronger than he has been if he is to flourish.
