Friends colliding in physical combat is always going to draw people in, especially when the two friends in question are Samoa Joe and CM Punk. Now while we haven’t seen Joe test out his skills in an official mixed martial arts capacity, his work in the ring over the last decade or so provides us with more than enough evidence that he can succeed.

He’s quick for a guy his size, he’s powerful, and most importantly he’s committed to the cause. Obviously, Punk and Joe would probably be opposed to the idea with all things considered, but if you whack a $1 million price tag above the octagon, then they’ll start throwing haymakers soon enough. Why? Because money makes the world go round.
