Over the last year or so we’ve learned a lot about Kurt Angle, with one of the main stories being that he was once offered the chance to fight in the UFC. Angle claimed that he was offered a 10-fight deal for a six-figure fee, however president Dana White insisted that the desired spot for Kurt would’ve been on the same Ultimate Fighter season as Kimbo Slice.
At his current age and given his many injuries he probably wouldn’t be nearly as good as he would’ve been in his prime, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t happen. After all Punk is still a novice in many ways, and Angle still has the ability to take people to the ground and outwrestle them until they’re forced to submit. Oh, it’s true, it’s damn true.
