WWE Superstars are always in the headlines when it comes to scandals, but it seems that the functional relationships between superstars are often overlooked.
The likes of Miz and Maryse, Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett, The Rock and Lauren Hashian and even Christy Hemme and Charley Patterson have announced this year that they are all expecting children in 2018, but it seems that a number of WWE stars actually became parents in 2017 as well.
Some of these stars became parents for the first time, whilst others welcomed another member to their growing family.

#5. Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan
Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan's relationship over the past four years has been well documented on Total Divas and Total Bellas, which meant that Brie's first pregnancy was one of the biggest talking points of the show over the last year.
Brie left WWE back in 2016 so that she could start a family with her husband, whom she married back in 2014. A few short months later, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child and Birdie Joe Danielson arrived on May 9th, 2017.
Brie has since already begun training for her in-ring return alongside her sister that is rumoured to be taking place at some point in 2018.
#4. Luke Harper and Synndy Synn
Luke Harper was formerly known as Brodie Lee when he was performing on the Independent Circuit, but when he was signed with WWE, the company took away his name and rebranded him as Luke Harper.
It seems that Harper's wife loved the name so much that the couple decided to give it to their firstborn son, who arrived in January 2012. Harper was then sent home from the South American tour a few weeks ago when it was revealed that his wife had gone into labour early with their second son at the beginning of December this year. There is no word yet on what Harper has named his second child.
#3. Roderick Strong and Marina Shafir
Roderick Strong was already well-known on the wrestling circuit before he was signed to WWE back in 2016. Since then Strong has performed on the NXT roster and most recently was seen partnering with The Authors of Pain at NXT Takeover: War Games back in November.
Outside of WWE, Roderick announced his engagement to mixed martial artist Marina Sharif back in December 2015 and last year the couple revealed that they were expecting their first child. Troy Veniamin Lindsey was born back on April 24th, 2017 and he has since made a number of appearances alongside his mother and father in NXT in recent months.
#2. Apollo Crews and Linda Uhaa
Apollo Crews made waves in NXT when he first arrived back in 2015, but it seems that he has been unable to recreate that kind of impact on the main roster ever since he was promoted to Raw after WrestleMania last year.
Whilst Apollo has been enjoying his time as part of the Titus Brand over the past year, his wife Linda announced that the couple were expecting their first child together. Apollo's daughter Sade Sofiya was born on June 22nd, 2017 and Apollo was able to get time away from WWE much like many other wrestlers have over the past few years, so that he could witness the birth of his first child.
#1. Wesley Blake and Sara Lee
Sara Lee was the female winner of Tough Enough when the show returned to the WWE Network back in 2015 and was signed to a year-long developmental deal with WWE following her win. She was released from this contract back in October 2016, just weeks before she announced that she was expecting her first child with fellow WWE star Wesley Blake.
Blake was best-known in NXT for his time as part of a tag team with Buddy Murphy and Alexa Bliss where he is a former NXT Tag Team Champion, but he hasn't been seen in a long time as part of the brand with rumours suggesting that he is currently being repackaged. The couple announced the arrival of their first child on May 10th 2017, a daughter that they called Piper.
