#4 AJ Styles
AJ Styles is the reigning WWE Champion and faces Jinder Mahal on Sunday night at Clash of Champions as The Modern Day Maharajah cashes in his rematch clause for the title he lost in Birmingham back in November.
Even though AJ is the main champion on the brand, it doesn't mean that he has a good record on pay-per-views, since his last win came all the way back at SummerSlam in August. Styles defeated Kevin Owens to retain the United States Championship at 'The Biggest Party of the Summer' before he dropped the Championship to Baron Corbin in a triple threat match that also included Tye Dillinger at Hell in a Cell back in October.
He later stepped into Bray Wyatt's shoes at the Raw exclusive pay-per-view TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs where he was defeated by Finn Balor ahead of his WWE Championship win over Jinder Mahal a few weeks later.
AJ then stepped in for Mahal at Survivor Series as he became another victim of Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, but luckily the match wasn't for his Championship. AJ now has to hope that the latest fall out between Jinder and The Singh Brothers means that the numbers are in his favour this weekend so that he can end this statistic and head into 2018 as the WWE Champion.
