Triple H was the second man to win the old WWE Grandslam after Shawn Michaels - winning the WWE, European, Intercontinental and Tag team titles. But like Michaels, Triple H misses out on capturing all available WWE titles due to his inability to win the United States Championship.

In all fairness to Hunter, he has never challenged for the US title on WWE TV and by the time it was introduced in the company, he was a main event player and it didn't make sense for him to challenge for a secondary title.

But the fact remains that despite having 12 years to capture the crown, the US title has eluded Triple H.
