Edge's first WWE title win was just the start of an awesome journey

It is not at all surprising to find that Edge has won every title in the WWE. Edge's rise in the WWE has been a text book version of how character development should happen in any promotion.

Starting out as a tag team specialist, Edge dominated the scene and won 14 tag titles to lay claim to being one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time, predominantly partnering Christian and later with the likes of Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio.

After his split with Christian, Edge became a solid upper mid-carder and won the United States/Intercontinental title six times to become one of the greatest workhorses of the early to mid-2000s.

Edge then cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and captured the WWE Championship to cement his run to the main event. That phase would see the Rated R Superstar win 11 WWE/World Heavyweight titles, staking his claim to being one of the greatest main event players of all time.

To conclude, with 31 total championships, Edge could have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame based on the accolades that he received during any of his three phases in the company.
