Shelton has been the highlight of many MITB ladder matches

The Gold Standard was once setting the standard in WWE when it came to the Money in the Bank ladder match, an impressive run up the ladder at WrestleMania 21 back in 2005 showed his impressive athleticism, before he followed that up with a running senton off a ladder the following year to take out many of the other participants in the match.

Shelton recently returned to WWE and has been stuck as part of its Tag Team Division on SmackDown Live over the past year, but it is unknown why he wasn't given the chance to show off his skills once again in this year's match.
