#2 Vince McMahon faces the Almighty (Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels)
In late 2005, Vince McMahon vowed to make Shawn Michaels life a living hell, after the Showstopper commented on the then-60-year-old chairman of the board.
After being defeated at WrestleMania 22 in 2006, McMahon said that the only way that Michaels could've won was with the assist of an act of God.
Hoping to destroy all that Shawn held close, the tyrannical boss booked himself and his son Shane, to face the Heart Break Kid, and God at the upcoming Backlash pay per view in April 2006.
The story received criticism from multiple sources, including WWE's own Joey Styles, who commented on the sacrilegious story in his worked-shoot promo when he quit RAW.
The only thing worse than trying to book a deity for a wrestling show, having that deity lose their first (and hopefully) only match in WWE.
