Former WWE Champions The Miz and Randy Orton collided against each other back in 2013 while the former's parents watched from ringside. Orton, who by this point was known to make an example out of WWE Superstars' parents, decided to brutally beat up The Miz in front of his mom and dad and completely embarrass 'The A-Lister'.

This eventually led to a rivalry that felt quite personal and interesting. However, in the aftermath of Orton's attacks, Miz was eventually written-off WWE TV due to an injury that he suffered as a result of the beatdown he recieved from Orton. However, when The Miz finally made his return to WWE TV in October, he suffered a quick loss to 'The Viper' and that was pretty much the conclusion of the feud.
Nevertheless, Orton involving Miz's parents in a storyline, while embarrassing the latter in front of them sure did feel like a genuine heel move from 'The Apex Predator'.
