After the behind the scenes merger of WCW during the Invasion plotline, you would be forgiven for wondering why Stevie Ray alongside his brother Booker T never managed to make it together in a WWE ring.

For sure Booker T had the wealth of opportunities in WCW, and that led ultimately to his continuation within the WWE. But many fans would have envisaged Stevie joining the ranks of the Invasion as well.

It may have come down to the amount of talent coming across during the aforementioned storyline, that led to the shedding of a performer or two, namely Stevie, who if he had joined WWE, would no doubt have stifled the singles career of Booker T, and potentially would have complicated matters in the wider WCW/ECW storyline. Never fear, as I am sure “Harlem Heat” can be found somewhere in the archives of the WWE network.

We expect to see the continuation of wrestling dynasties long into the future, hopefully with the odd surprise in tow.
