A rather very interesting and bold choice to win the 2021 women's Money in the Bank match could be Sonya Deville. It was at WWE SummerSlam 2020 last year where she faced Mandy Rose in a "Loser Leaves WWE" match and lost. Following that, she went on a break to deal with some stuff in her personal life.
On the January 1, 2021 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Deville made her WWE return and it was announced that she has been reinstated. She went on to become the assistant to on-screen authority figure Adam Pearce. Deville also started appearing on Monday Night RAW as an on-screen authority figure and recently teased a heel alliance with Charlotte Flair on the Red brand.
Interestingly, WWE has chosen not to use her as an in-ring talent but instead as an authority figure on TV. No doubt she has done a great job with that but it might be time for her to get back in the women's division and get a proper push.
Fans can expect Sonya Deville to be involved in making qualifying matches for this year's Money in the Bank match. She might then announce a mystery eighth participant in the match and at the pay-per-view, reveal herself to be that. Sonya Deville as Ms. Money in the Bank could open up a bunch of interesting storylines.
