#1 Edge borrowed Trevor Murdoch’s gear (WWE live event)

Edge has worn full-length tights for almost his entire WWE career. One of the few exceptions came when he lost his luggage and had to borrow Trevor Murdoch’s trunks at a WWE live event.

Some of the other WWE Superstars in this article were able to disguise that they wore another person's clothing. Ruby Riott, for instance, turned Kalisto's kick pads inside out to make sure nobody knew she had borrowed some of his attire.

Edge, on the other hand, did not try to hide that he was wearing Murdoch’s usual ring gear. As the picture below shows, The Rated R-Superstar’s red trunks clearly said “Trevor Murdoch” on the back.

Murdoch won the WWE tag team titles on three occasions with Lance Cade during his three-year run in the company between July 2005 and July 2008. He came out of retirement in 2019 to work for the NWA.

Edge went on to make an in-ring comeback of his own in the 2020 WWE Royal Rumble match. The WWE Hall of Famer has since faced Randy Orton at two pay-per-views, WrestleMania 36 and Backlash. He is currently out of action due to a triceps injury.
