Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre were involved in the WWE title program heading into WrestleMania 36 earlier this year. Around the same time, McIntyre recalled his forgettable run with 3MB during his previous WWE stint and revealed that Brock Lesnar once asked him why he was involved in the group. This was certainly Lesnar's way of letting McIntyre know that he had too much potential to be a part of a faction that was used to put over other Superstars.

I remember it well. Brock was not long back at that point from UFC. He pulled me aside, and he straight-up asked me, ‘Why are you involved in this?’ He was so confused, but he saw something in me and believed in me. It’s pretty crazy, all these years later, I was the guy to take the title from him at WrestleMania.

McIntyre dominated Brock Lesnar like very few did in the past
It's incredible how Drew McIntyre went on to become one of the biggest Superstars in all of WWE. He eliminated Brock Lesnar in the 2020 Royal Rumble match and went on to defeat him in the main event of WrestleMania 36 to win his first WWE title.
