After Drew McIntyre, WWE Superstar Sheamus poses the next big threat to Bobby Lashley’s title reign on RAW. The Celtic Warrior attacked his former best friend and turned heel on the Red brand in his quest for the world title. Sheamus still has his eyes set on the gold, and he could be the next top superstar to engage in a title feud with Bobby Lashley.

In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, Sheamus faced Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre for five consecutive weeks. Even though The Celtic Warrior couldn’t get a statement victory, he convinced the WWE Universe that he deserves a spot in the main event. A title feud with Bobby Lashley could finally earn him the much-deserved chance to prove his worth in the championship picture.

Sheamus defeated Riddle to win the United States Championship at WrestleMania 37. He could confront Lashley on the RAW after WrestleMania and challenge him for the WWE Championship in a champion vs. champion match, unless McIntyre insists on receiving a rematch first. Sheamus needs to prove himself as a dominant challenger against Lashley before he eventually loses his US title.

WWE RAW can definitely use an intense champion vs. champion match. Even if it is limited to a one-off encounter, a good bout with Lashley will add more credibility to The Celtic Warrior's current run on the Red brand.
