#2. Former WWE Superstar Trey Baxter

Trey Baxter was seen as a star who could be a potential main event player in WWE, but sadly he wasn't given the time to shine.

Baxter was signed by WWE on February 13th, 2021 after attending a tryout with the company in the fall of 2020. He went on to make his debut for the company a few months later on June 15th when he unsuccessfully answered Kushida's open challenge for the Cruiserweight Championship.

He was later entered into NXT's Breakout Tournament where he was only able to make it to the semi-finals. He was eliminated by Odyssey Jones, who was then beaten by eventual winner Carmelo Hayes.

Throughout his time on NXT Trey was able to work alongside his girlfriend Cora Jade, but this came to an abrupt end when he was released from the company alongside several other stars on November 4th. Cora Jade has remained part of the NXT brand following her partner's departure.

That means Baxter's WWE career lasted around eight months from his signing in February up to his release in November.
