#2. The Miz faced Kofi Kingston to enter John Morrison into WWE's Elimination Chamber

This year WWE announced Drew McIntyre would be defending his WWE Title inside the Elimination Chamber against Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, The Miz and AJ Styles.

However, Mr Money in The Bank, The Miz, would later withdraw himself from the match, suggesting that his tag team partner John Morrison take his place instead. This ultimately led to a match between Kofi Kingston and The Miz.

If Miz won, Morrison would get the Elimination Chamber spot, if Kingston won, he'd take it instead.

The Miz was sadly beaten by Kofi Kingston, meaning that his 'selfless' act to try and get his partner in the world title match had failed.

In reality, of course, it was all a plan to try and increase his chances of a successful cash-in and the tactic paid off as The Miz would pin Drew McIntyre later that night, cashing in his briefcase, and winning the WWE Title.
