MVP has once dated a woman who exceeded him in fame. The WWE Superstar was in a relationship with actress, producer, and TV host Sherri Shepherd. The 54-year-old actress has won several awards, including a Daytime Emmy. She has also been nominated for many others. Shepherd has a million followers on Instagram, which is over double what MVP has.
The two dated for a few weeks. They appeared together on the red carpet of the BET Awards show in 2009. Soon after, Shepherd announced on her show "The View" that they had broken up.
MVP continues to entertain the WWE Universe on Monday Night RAW. He plays the role of Bobby Lashley's manager. The 47-year-old WWE Superstar recently returned to in-ring competition, too, after months of absence due to a knee injury. He joined forces with Lashley to take on The New Day on the July 5 episode of RAW but came up short.
