Kurt Angle (2003)

Kurt Angle is a beast when it comes to pushing his body to the limit. The guy won a Gold medal in the Olympics with a broken neck and with such miracles in his resume, returning earlier than expected from an injury lay-off was apparently like a cakewalk for him.

After the WrestleMania XIX main event with Brock Lesnar, Angle had to take time out for surgery. It was a serious neck surgery and it apparently would’ve kept him out of action for nearly a year. However, Angle made some alterations to the procedure and was able to cut short his absence to just three months, thus setting up a big return to SmackDown.
