Edge (2009)

Edge has suffered a lot of injuries during his career and one of them was his torn Achilles tendon in July, 2009. It happened during a match against Jeff Hardy and the injury was supposed to keep Edge out of action for almost a year. However, Edge managed to push hard and make his return earlier.

Edge returned at the 2010 Royal Rumble where he entered as the 29th entrant in the match. The crowd was clearly marked out seeing Edge and he then went on to win the Royal Rumble match, the first in his career by eliminating John Cena. Edge, however, lost the title match to Chris Jericho at WrestleMania XXVI.
