John Cena and Nikki Bella were engaged to be married in 2017, following a victory over The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania 33. Things didn't go as planned, though, and the couple split a year later. Earlier this year, the former WWE Diva posted a tweet that talked about one's misery being someone else's happiness. John Cena fans took it as Bella targeting the 16-time World Champion, and the tweet garnered lots of hateful comments.

Nikki Bella deleted the tweet and later explained the reason:
So, I put out a tweet, and it went like wildfire because there were some people and some headlines that thought I was throwing shade to my ex-fiance. Which, goodness people, it was not the case.
It has been around two years since John Cena and Nikki Bella split, and they seem to be on good terms now. The WWE veteran recently married his partner Shay Shariatzadeh, while Nikki Bella is engaged to Russian dancer Artem Chigvintsev. Bella had a child with Artem in July 2020.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback.
