Just like Finn Balor, Shayna Baszler was a top dog during her initial stint on WWE NXT. But as is often the case with NXT Superstars on RAW and SmackDown, making a transition to WWE's main roster hasn't been smooth for everyone.

Although Baszler has been in a major World title feud with Becky Lynch earlier this year, the entire angle was stripped of its potential due to various factors leading up to Lynch's pregnancy announcement.

Since then, Baszler has still been billed as a top star in WWE, but she hasn't exactly been in the World title picture due to several reasons. The Golden Role Models are doing a good job as the top Champions, and Baszler might just be too strong of a competitor for both Sasha Banks and Bayley at this point in time.

Regardless, the Queen of Spades has claimed to face the RAW Women's Champion after SummerSlam. And even then, it is impossible to say if she will become a World Champion due to a massive roadblock called Nia Jax.

Baszler is stuck in a weird position where she absolutely needs to justify her billing by becoming a top Champion on the main roster. But she is being deliberately booked around the World title picture, and not directly in it.
