#2: Sonya Deville
Out of all the entries in this list so far, Sonya Deville is the one who went above and beyond to sell herself as a top star in WWE recently.
Her promos have been absolutely excellent since Fire & Desire broke up, and Deville has already become one of the most interesting characters for the company in recent memory. You could argue that the booking may not justify her efforts, as it is hard to predict if Sonya Deville would be as popular if it wasn't for her own ambition.
Deville is set to face Mandy Rose in a "Hair vs. Hair" Match at WWE SummerSlam. And regardless of what the outcome may be, a World title run should be in the books for the former star soon.
Unlike several up-and-coming WWE stars, Sonya's recent efforts have quickly catapulted her ahead of her own peers. And it might be a missed opportunity if WWE doesn't strike the iron when it is hot.
Moreover, Sonya Deville has been involved in a feud with Mandy Rose for quite a while now. And in all that time, it has become apparent that keeping Deville out of the World title feud or relegating her to an inferior angle after SummerSlam would feel nothing but unnatural.
