Lars Sullivan was drafted to SmackDown in the 2019 Superstar Shake-up. Unfortunately, he suffered a knee injury in the summer of last year that has kept him on the sidelines ever since. Sullivan has reportedly been cleared to make his WWE return for several months but is yet to be given a storyline to step into.
The former NXT star has uploaded several workout videos on his Instagram account, which shows that he is prepared to make his return. Since RAW is a three-hour show and offers RAW Underground, it may be a better fit for him.
Sullivan could become a star on RAW Underground since it is all about strength and technical ability. The company could be waiting for the draft so that The Freak can make his return to WWE TV.
SmackDown is a show that is packed at present, so it's easy to see why the creative team is stuck when it comes to ideas for Sullivan. The move to RAW could be a blessing for the former NXT star.
